"The object of catechesis is communion with Jesus Christ. Catechesis leads people to enter the mystery of Christ, to encounter him, and to discover themselves and the meaning of their lives in him." (National Directory of Catechesis [Washington, DC; United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, 2005], no. 19B)

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded  you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of age. (Mt 28:19-20)

Question of the Week for the 9th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Question for Children: What teaching of Jesus do you find is most important for you to follow?

Question for Youth: Jesus teaches that we will be judged by our actions.  If someone was to watch you, would they know that you are a follower of Jesus? What can you do differently this week to show your faith in your actions more fully to others?

Question for Adults: Share how you have, in the words of the Gospel, built your own house on rock. Or share how you need to do that.
